On this trip, ABRP directed us to a Rivian charger near Lebanon, New Hampshire. The experience was exceptional: no lines, plenty of amenities, and six high-powered chargers, all functioning perfectly. The app's accuracy, even without live data from the car, was impressive.
A Smooth Experience, Despite a Few Hitches
While the trip was largely seamless, we did encounter a minor issue at a Circuit Électrique station outside Montreal. The card reader malfunctioned, requiring us to download their app and load it with Canadian dollars. However, this was a small inconvenience in an otherwise smooth journey.
Each charging session lasted around 20 minutes, conveniently combined with lunch or rest stops. We never had to wait for our car, and the entire process was as quick as our border control wait on the way back.

Comparing this experience to a similar trip three years ago highlights the immense progress made in EV charging infrastructure. Back then, broken chargers, unreliable apps, and long waits were the norm. It was a far cry from the efficient and user-friendly experience we enjoyed this time around.
